perhaps, a theatre company.
you’ve felt it, right?
we create theatre… perhaps.
led by emmett aster and based on binjareb boodja (mandurah, western australia), perhaps, a theatre company. is dedicated to storytelling that pushes the boundaries of traditional theatre.
we tell stories through music, movement, poetry and play. we’re especially drawn to the stories that aren’t often told – the stories on the margins that have been overlooked, silenced, or misunderstood.
our priority is on vulnerability and connection. we strive to lay bare complex, messy experiences with sensitivity and honesty, inviting audiences to recognise themselves in the unexpected. we make theatre that feels alive; work that is small-scale, intimate, and deeply human.
we’re dedicated to blurring the lines that separate theatre from other art forms to tell real stories from real people, and explore the feelings that, perhaps, we’ve all felt.

i hope we will see much more of this production company as they keep creating, keep dreaming and being the most authentic and honest performance i’ve seen this season.
